Good day. I registard a claim (********)to repair chips on windscreen yesterday, 10/4/17. The consultant (tink ladies name is Thukah)from Outsurance was very helpful and it was obvious that she is informed about the product and procedures. I was contacted by Starbrake and the chips were repaired before 13.00 this morning (11/4/17). I will recommend Outsurance and Starbrake to any person. The case was handled with no hasle as everybody involved was keen to do their job!!!

I'm trying to communicate with outsurance via email - I have not the means to communicate via phone. It is unfair that outsurance communicate with me via email, but replying to that email address only returns a message that states that the email address is not monitored. Should i return to your emails that my email address is not monitored, maybe then you will get the message. I already reported this as a scam - absolutely no response.

Good day. I have been struggling with a employee named KaraboK02 thats his hallo peter code name. He is not giving me any honest replues. I get told he will phone me back wich he does not. I spoke to him and his manager both lie. I had a problem with dual assurance. Please could you give me a employee who kniws his job.

Took my vehicle to be assesed today at cmc panelshop by an outsurance asseror...
He took pics of the damage and proceeded toget price for repairs on vehicle...
And then....
He told me i am gonna forfeit my outbonus if i proceed with the claim...?
WTF...?
We as customers pay you a lot of money for insurance but YOU want to tell us when where and what...
I AM THE CLIENT PAYING YOU FOR SERVICE and without us YOU would not exist...
How low can you go to steer clients from claiming by telling them they loose their outbonus if they proceed with the claim...
The out bonus is more than R10 000 so take a moment and work out how much i paid to earn that bonus...
Why don't you say okay we will pay your excess as you paid is a shitload of money in premiums but no YOU only care about the money and not clients as your adverts claim on tv...
I am going to have my car fixed and then YOU can go and do what YOU want to as i will end my policy with YOU...

Claim # ********. Another driver also an OUTsurance client opened their door as I was driving past and hit my car. Very helpful Tracy took my claim. I was assured that if the legal dept determined that if it wasn't my fault I would not have to pay the excess nor lose my outbonus.

It was determined that I wasn't at fault but now the terms have changed. Now all of a sudden I have two options. 1. I don't pay the excess but lose my outbonus or 2. They only pay 80% of the value of the claim then I don't lose my outbonus or pay an excess.

OUTsurance gave me an option between two Panelbeaters. The one suggested I commit fraud on a claim. The latter where I got a quote for the damages failed to see that the glass of the wing mirror was broken and was taking photos of the damage with a cellphone. I would have thought that to properly access the damage they would want good quality photos as they send it away to an OUTsurance assessor who sits in an office somewhere. I previously reported this Panelbeater for charging for parts they didn't replace, and poor quality work.

Furthermore the OUTsurance assessor deems the damage to both doors and the wing mirror to be R7,997.74. This means that they want to slap body putty on to repair the doors as the metal is wrinkled. I am getting nowhere with them hence this complaint.

I joined outsurance in 2015 when Zandi Makhosi called me.. she was very friendly and helpfull and explained everything to me in detail and said that outsurance was the only insurance to cover learner drivers.. i then decided to join as she said that as soon as i get my lisence my monthly premium would decrease.. i sent a mail to Zandi on 13th Jan and asked how much my premium would be as i now have my lisence.. today is 5 Feb and i am still waiting for a reply!! This is ridiculous! Everyone is quick to help you join outsurance but as soon as you have a query about anything there is simply just no response!! What am i paying so much money for every month?? For what service?? If your service does not improve drastically and i do not receive any feedback within the next 24 hours im afraid i will then have to cancel my insurance with you.. im sure i will receive better service somewhere else..

I switched to outsurance June this year and I requested the cover with a tracker but even today nothing has happened and money is deducted every month. ....not happy at all

I have tried repeatedly to get some answers as a third party claimant. Everyone is very polite and promises are made but nothing is done. Another week has gone by despite being told that if I did my part (submit endless paperwork, police stamped affidavit and photographs) that the whole process should be sorted in a matter of days. No inspection, no "manager" and no answers. Is this how all third party claimants are treated in the hopes they will just give up? I am still waiting for a response from my last complaint submitted here!

I so feel your pain. My bakkie has been damaged even more than it was before it was towed away to the SMD yard by outsurance. Now no one has answers. Just assessor upon assessor and tones of paperwork. My bakkie is now lying in the garage for over a week, waiting to be fixed.

I am not a client but I have a claim against a client of Outsurance and boy have I been given the runaround. Promises to call me back, promises that an inspector is coming, promises that I will be dealt with quickly, promises that a "Manager" was going to be spoken to and that I would get a call. Now prsumably the offices are closed for the day! I am totally irritated. Lynette at Liabilities. Contact me. What is happening?
