TOO EXPENSIVE
I have a 2003 Getz. Every year my premium is increased even though the value of my car reduces. I have just received a message that my premium is increasing, in view, of among other things, my claim history. In all these years, I have NEVER had a claim!!!!!! Definitely going to look elsewhere. You are fleecing me. I have always been so loyal. It obviously doesn't pay. In addition, I have tried every single number on your website and just receive a message that the number doesn't exist - TG it's not an emergency! Now you want me to pay R422?????

Query in connection with a quote
Yesterday, 1 February 2021, I contacted Outsurance with a view to getting a quote for insuring the house that we are moving into shortly. I only require an approximate value of the monthly premium in order to compare with other schemes.The phone conversation was extremely unpleasant. I was required to give information for a background check amongst other things. Why, in view of the nature of my query? I only need a number for planning purposes! The "consultant" then proceeded to race through a jumble of legalese, provisions, etc. which, as well as being irrelevant, was totally impossible to follow. Why? I repeat, at this stage I just need a simple number. There are websites where you can get this information from other firms in a matter of minutes. Needless to say I have scratched Outsurance from my list of candidate insurance companies.

No assessment or repairs done!
We had a break-in at our house on Sunday night. To date, no assessor or repair team have been out here to do their work. We have had to call numerous times to get any sort of feed-back from Outsurance and their service providers! Our house is sitting wide open to criminals and the elements and the insurance we pay for monthly has NOT assisted! You should be ashamed of the "service" you claim to provide!

Public Liability Cover
Please explain why would Outsurance deduct a premium for the month of April when we were on lockdown level 5? It's a known fact that all of us who do not provide essential services were home as per instruction from the president. My Company, Amazizi Projects and Events Pty Ltd pays Outsurance for a service provided. So if you could please, ease enlighten me what service did you provide for us for the month of April since we were all locked down? What cover did you provide for last month and for what?

Excellent
In this company Outsurance depends who get the phone at that moment and talk to you. I did get an accident I met with a kind person from the begging . He helped me from the towing of my car, storage, panel beaters and even to the payment of my claim up to the point my cousin want to join too. My car was right off but we discuss the issue and my problem was solved easy. I recommended to everyone but Its seems that who take your call first.

HARASSMENT AND FROM A COMPANY THAT SEEMINGLY RIPSOFF LOYAL EXISTING CUSTOMERS!
November 2019. The ads on tv are totally misleading they got me thinking. I reviewed my comprehensive car insurance. Got a reduction of R106.96 13.94% without car hire. I get another quote and that was R289.08 or 37% of the original cover. R103.92 (15.27%) cheaper than the revised quote. This was concluded on 5th November. Now 11th November I still get emails and have had at least four phone calls after I have very clearly told the company to leave me alone They do not listen or care. The proof is in the pooooooding. OUTsurance leave me alone.
In addition I have had to ask for a policy document. Useless is not the word.
Sadly I could not give them a tenth of a star. I would.

Constructive criticism take it leave it you choose
Please, your Car Outsurance Advertisement played out by Katlego Maboe every few minutes while watching a DSTV program is really getting 'tired'. Every break we hear & see Katlego. For myself because of the OTT over the top advertising I will never use Outsurance for vehicles because its now become overkill for me. Too many ads played out in between one Dstv program over & over again, has totally killed it for me. Sorry but its become, "oh no I cant believe it here's that stupid irritating outsurance advert again, I mean really, how many times must we be exposed to this while watching one program in Dstv.?"

Outsurance should close down
We reported a burst geyser on Tuesday morning. Today is Friday, our geyser had still not been fixed. We were prepared to pay for the geyser ourselves because after paying for 20 odd years they were squibbling over the amount the geyser was insured for. Your service is pathetic to put it mildly. So stop the advertising on TV of how wonderful your service is. Spend that money on bettering the way you treat your customers. I will take this matter to the highest level I can. You can take me to court if you like but the inconvenience you are putting us through is just unforgivable.

Excellent Service received
Hi had a serious accident on 3 May which resulted in my car being written off. The staff were concerned, helpful and efficient. They assisted me in getting a loan car whilst my claim was being sorted. I had a new car in less than 2 weeks. I am very impressed with your service Outsurance and will certainly be telling everyone I know about it.

Contacting outsurance is more difficult thaan finding snow in summer in South Africa
After many attempts to phone one of the call centers, cause there is apparently no other way of contacting outsurance I eventually had the misfortune to speak to a cancellation agent. WHAT A MISSION!!! He gave me so many words and when I told him I cannot manage to deal with a company that is so difficult to communicate with. The call centre agent was so annoyed with me when I wouldn't give the next insurance details to him. Seriously, what is wrong with you people. If your service was so amazing why are your executives contact details somewhere/anywhere and why is the only way to contact you via a call centre that has 'technical issues''
