We bought 5 Inspiron 15 5593 for our company. All have some keyboard issues with keys falling out and keys not registering when typing. I have complained to Del, they setup and appointment for service at our office and cancelled at the last minute.
The internet is full of people having issues with keyboards on the 5593 and other similar machines, going back at least 2 years. Dell are aware of the problems but are unable / unwilling to resolve this issue yet they continue to sell these defective machines and thereby ripping people off.
Customer service is useless and non-existent. There is no one to hear our complaints.
I have lodged a complaint with the National Consumer Commission requesting that Dell be investigates and prosecuted for selling machines with a known issue.

Worst service in the world
I have a Dell venue pro 7140. It is supposedly getting fixed under warranty by Ensure services - Dells service agent.
But its been there for nearly 6 weeks and they cannot seem to get parts. You also cannot phone anyone at Ensure or Dell to complain. NEVER BUY A DELL. Its that simple because when it breaks you CANNOT get it repaired. Last dell ever. Your customer relations suck. I would have given you 0 stars if there was that option.

I own a Dell XPS 12 9Q33 under service tag JX6BVY1. The unit is outside warranty and the micro video output port has worn and gives intermittent connection problems. As managing director I continually do presentations, and the problem causes great embarrassment during presentations.
I am currently on a business trip in Cape Town, South Africa, and I tried to order on-site repairs for this unit - which I am prepared to pay for. It took me 20 minutes to find a South African number to dial for support. Then the support consultant cut me off and I had to repeat the entire call process - wasting another 7 minutes. With the second attempt the support consultant managed to transfer me to "out of warranty" repairs. During this process I had to submit my Express Service Code 5 times. Eventually I was told the unit was purchased in Singapore and Dell cannot effect repairs unless I transfer the service tag from Singapore to South Africa - a process which will take 10 to 12 days. In 12 days I am back in Singapore.... and I need the repairs now!
Dell, you service delivery leaves much to be desired and my group of companies will not invest in Dell products in the future.

Good morning. I have a new Dell laptop. DN63F32. This laptop is now for the fourth time in for repair. Each time they only put in a new motherboard. Now they say my laptop is out of warranty. I must pay R********. Tell me how can I pay this for a laptop that will broke again over 5 months. So you don't give warranty on a new motherboard that was installed only on 31/03/2016. If Dell gave me a new laptop in the beginning it would have saved us all money. Each time our business loses working time when laptop is in for repair. The consultant just say I must have taken a extended warrenty! If this is how you deal with you clients I must find another company. I have an old HP that runs with the same powersupply everyday and had never have any problems or repairs done on him. Can you look at my case please.
