We bought 5 Inspiron 15 5593 for our company. All have some keyboard issues with keys falling out and keys not registering when typing. I have complained to Del, they setup and appointment for service at our office and cancelled at the last minute.
The internet is full of people having issues with keyboards on the 5593 and other similar machines, going back at least 2 years. Dell are aware of the problems but are unable / unwilling to resolve this issue yet they continue to sell these defective machines and thereby ripping people off.
Customer service is useless and non-existent. There is no one to hear our complaints.
I have lodged a complaint with the National Consumer Commission requesting that Dell be investigates and prosecuted for selling machines with a known issue.
