26% price increase on a hygiene product
Absolutely shocked to have to pay R39,95 for 750ml Safeguard Hygiene liquid when this product was retailing at R31,95 just a couple of weeks ago. This is a sure way to send customers to their local pharmacy which surprisingly enough have lower prices. Not good news for pensioners who have to turn over every cent especially now in the pandemic when sanitiser-related product prices are skyrocketing!!!

Dischem's new system to exclude women who are over 100kg from family planning program
I am honestly so disappointed in your new system of excluding women who weight over 100kg to be excluded from your family planning program, we are told to seek medical advice from a gynecologist. What is the real reason for this new exclusion that nurse cant explain to us? For someone who is across the country to make a choice of whether you get injected or not, while you have a qualified nurse infont of you (who in effect has previously advice you on your lifestyle) is not only disappointing but also insulting to the professional nurses you employ. The system fails in human contact, also to release our different backgrounds, look I am not against seeing a Gynae in actual fact I value them but do you know how much it is for a consultation or how long it take to get an appointment with one in a public hospital? The previous system worked as the nurses made a judgement on each person's case not to through a blanket to every situation. Dischem you are serving people with different needs in you clinics

Kak treatment before entering store
Baywest dischem please educate your security please as they don't know how to speak to customers. As I was at your store today and the tall dark guy tried to embarrass me in front of other staff and people we all know twhat the protocol for covid as am a manager of a store as well this is not the first time these idiots are treating me like this and I had enough now of this kak treatment....

Trouble to get Shape from Dischem Wonderboom Junction

Ek is vandag baie teleurgesteld. Ek is 'n pensionaris en ry ver om ons inkopies by Dischem Wonderboom Junction te doen.
Dit is nou al die derde keer dat ek spesiaal daarheen ry om vir my vrou Shape te gaan koop. Sy drink dit as maaltydvervanging en omdat dit soveel vitamines bevat. Sy hou van Aarbei en Vanilla en die afgelope tyd was daar net Sjokoladegeur.
Verlede week toe koop ek 'n ander G.I.Lean in aarbeigeur wat R150 gekos het omdat daar geen Shape was nie. Dit is so sleg my vrou word naar daarvan en dit blaas haar ook op. Nou sit ons met R150 in die water gegooi en steeds het Dischem nog nie moeite gedoen om nuwe voorraad Shape te kry nie. Ek koop ten minste vier houers elke maand.
Toe ek vir die dame wat vloerdiens gedoen het vra vir hoofkantoor se epos adres het sy geweier om dit vir my te gee.
Ek is regtig baie teleurgesteld.

Bad customer service - extremely rude dispensary manager!!!
A very loyal yet disappointed Dischem customer who is now looking for alternatives to fill scripts etc. I collected my repeats from Dischem Glenacres in Kempton Park the last week of December to avoid claiming from my medical aid in January 2021. However, when unpacking into my dispenser in January realized I was not given all my medication. I held on the phone for more than 10 minutes yesterday and eventually spoke to a person by the name of Anneline who promised that someone will contact me to rectify the error, needless to say, it did not happen, I called again this morning - once again held on for 8 minutes and eventually re-dialled and asked to speak to a manager as my son was on his way to collect his repeats - I wanted him to collect mine at the same time. The dispensary manager - Thalita called me back and I tried to explain how frustrated I was with Dischem but was rudely interrupted and told she is very busy and their phones are busy and my script had to be renewed. I kept on saying to her that surely it is the minimum customer service expected to communicate with your customer - I was not informed when collecting my script! I manage a customer care call centre where we have 16 staff members, believe me... if I had to speak to a customer in the manner that I was spoken to I would have been out the door facing a disciplinary action within a few minutes!!!!! She threw the phone down and I could hear her saying to " oom Andrè" to assist me, I had to explain the concept of customer service and we as the customer actually pays your salary. Needless to say myself or my family won't go back to Dischem, your are obviously spoilt with customers just accepting your bad service or treatment but believe me at some point there will be opposition to Dischem as we have seen with many other companies!

Staff Training Required Dischem Baywest
Tried purchasing Bioderma Sensibio Micellaire 500ml on promotion on the 07/12/20, no stock available. Consultant couldn't reach another store in my presence then arranged for a Rain check however(incorrect product listed).By 24/12/20 I had followed up 3 times as I heard no word from them i was told no stock would be received at present I ended up purchasing 250ml.On 27/12/20 I went to Dischem Newton Park,fully stocked in 500ml Sensibo but Denease Cosmetics manager explained because the staff member listed the incorrect product on the rain check she couldn't sell it to me using my rain check.She called SM at Baywest who would have to arrange for the product to be sent there.What happend to great customer service, going the extra mile
with knowledgeable staff?

Defamation of Character
On the 26th December 2020, my family and I went shopping at your Flamingo Branch in Modderfontein. We had left the Store and were loading bags into the car when a Security Guard approached us and said that there was an issue and that we needed to return to Dischem. Unsure of what was going on we obliged. We were escorted by the Security Guard back to the store and upstairs, where we were told to wait. It was very unpleasant being escorted through the store with all the Customers eyes on us. We asked on numerous occasions what the problem was but were given no information. Our two small children were becoming anxious and were questioning what we had done. We were left to wait for some time outside of the office whilst footage was reviewed. At one stage the Security Guard passed by us and I asked him again what the issue was. His reply “some items were not paid for”. Now we hit panic stations, how could that have happened? Still we wait whilst your store goes through the footage, searching for “evidence” of these items that were not paid for. Eventually the Store Manager approaches me and asks me to review the footage where I have apparently not paid for socks…R25.00 socks. Now my blood starts to boil, you have humiliated us, you have scared my children, you have not communicated with us and all of this over socks. I ask for the footage to show where I enter the que, you then see me head to teller 1 and you clearly see me pay for the R25.00 socks. By this time I am now furious, how dare you do this to us, you cant go around falsely accusing people, this is defamation of character! This was so badly dealt with and it is unacceptable. We shop at this branch every weekend, never again will we support Dischem Flamingo, what a traumatic, unnecessary morning!! I have every intention of taking this all the way to the top Dischem, you cannot go around doing this to families who are supporting you on a Saturday morning. How dare you!

very upset online messaging said they had stock travelled 60kms only to find no stock
Very upset was toldthey had stock and travelled far only to find no stock they could at least offer me overnite service to make up for all the petrol i used to go to this dischem

COMPLIMENT - EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE RECEIVED FROM PAARL MALL STAFF MEMBER - LETCHMEE SEDEMAN
Today I visited your Paarl Mall branch. I was just browsing around your fragrance counter and was attended to by a very friendly and helpful assistant, Ms Letchmee Sedeman. She was very patient and eager to help me try out various brands of fragrances and other products, and even help me choose a lip and nail colour. I walked out with over R4000 worth of goods from her department alone.

Ms Sedeman is truly a breath of fresh air particularly in a society where customer service has become almost non-existent.

Thank you Letchmee for your exceptional service and manner in which you assisted me today. You really went the extra mile and beyond - You’re a star.

Discrimination
I went to dischem at Randburg Square and was told by one of the tellers that there is no need for me to address her in English. And yet she was chatting to the customer before me in English. I mentioned to her that the constitution allows me to talk to her in any official language she can understand and she said well chatting to me in English in not necessary.

This is pure discrimination and abuse of my right as a citizen of this country.
