Review Informal WhatsApp Messages

My first contact received from Planet Fitness was via a sales rep's PERSONAL WhatsApp account. I can't find anywhere I agreed to give my personal phone number to a random employee? This is a serious privacy violation. If it was sent from a business account, sure. I don't want my personal information on display for every employee?
