My 74yr old mother registered at a gym close to home as she can't manage driving. This branch was closed during covid, and her membership transferred to a gym in the middle of Sandton. She can't cope with Sandton traffic and so she can't get to this gym! PF refuses to cancel her contract and is harrassing her via lawyers for membership fees at a branch that she can't use. Now my mom has spoken to a consultant at the call centre who told her too bad, you can walk to gym! FYI it's 5km one way, so PF expects a 74yr old lady to walk the equivalent of 10km to get to and from gym. Anyone out there even vaguely considering signing up with PF - DON'T! They take your money, adjust the terms of your contract unilaterally without discussion, they have a total lack of common decency or respect, and they treat their elderly clients worse than dirt under the soles of their shoes. Shame on you PF.
