Takealot.com was officially launched in June 2011, following the successful acquisition of an existing ecommerce business called Take2 by the US based investment firm, Tiger Global Management and Kim Reid in October 2010. I convince by RUDE DRIVER
I ordered a gift from take a lot. I then received a message saying they will deliver before 5pm on 24-11-2021. While at work on the said day I then a call, with any greetings, I hear take a lot I'm outside. My response is I'm still at work, the message did not specify the exact time at least you guys should have Atleast specified time, I will be at home after 3.He then says he doesn't deliver after 5pm.i don't get the logic there because I said I will be home after 3pm and not 5pm.This rude driver then decide to hang up on my ear nd I tried calling him back but he never picked up. The next thing I go home wait for orders but he never came back. Later I then receive a message saying they are going to credit my account for my next order. This RUDE took back my order instead of coming back after 3pm. This is such an inconvenience because this was someone's gift nd I needed it for the 277-11-2021.Take a lot is just an inconvenience and a headache. I regret choosing take a lot because the Rude driver doesn't know what CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. I'M VERY ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED!!! Train your drivers on how to treat customers or you will lose your business. This unacceptable

Hi, Gaven from Soweto.i bought a dell desktop which was refurbished with dummy dvd-rom and they didn't exchange for me instead they wanted to find faults in everything I have done yet I did not do anything wrong.its over 1month 2weeks now they pretended as if they gonna refund me but that didn't happen.what pisses me most is that you will never find their head office contacts anywhere and that's the sign that this bs company does care about us clients but money.they know that they selling bad stuff they don't want to loose they want 100% profit regardless of the faulty or bogus items.i would like anyone to help with their head office numbers it someone who knows more about their operations so that I can start bringing them down.Im ready and willing to hurt this bs company.Please

Did not get my full order
Order number ********. Paid for my full order. Takealot is saying i did not. Got the proof of payment from you. And the payment to takealot indicate that i have paid. Can someone please attend to this problem

Canon pixma G3411 inkjet printer
I have purchased a canon pixma G3411 inkjet printer on the 29 april 2021. Never was it n problem when I had to pay R3000 for it. They were more then happy to accept my money. BUT when i wanted to return the item because it gave a P307 error and it was not flushing the ink to the cartridges. I have packed the printer in the plastic it came in. I even taped the scaner flap closed so it dos not get damage. JUST for them to say my return is not being accepted because betwern picking it up at my house and the warehouse they have manhandled the box and printer. They have send fotos of my printer covered in ink. Telling me there is nothing they can do for me now and it is being send back. Receiving it back on 09 June 2021 at 09:15 PM. Just to open the box. The printer is packed back in the box upside down. The one side did not even have the foam board to keep it in place!

SO NOW WHAT?
NO I LOSE R3000 AND STILL NO PRINTER?
NO ONE CAN HIVE ME ANSWERS?
MANAGER NEVER CALLED ME BACK?

I CANT EVEN SEND IT TO CANON BECAUSE IT IS COVERED IN INK

All they can tell me is that there is nothing they can do about it and they need proof that it did not looked like that when i send it

Your guarantee policy with your supplier does not work
I ordered an HP Elite laptop which had a faulty camera & the laptop was returned to your warehouse.
After over a week Takealot finally agreed that the laptop was faulty & gave a credit.
I do not want the credit, as I phoned HP and they authorized a full exchange as the laptop was under guarantee. It was almost brand new.
I have asked Takealot to PLEASE go and Exchange the laptop at HP and get a replacement under the guarantee.
I am still awaiting 2 days later for a response which has been escalated to management on 2 March.
For goodness sake how long does it take to get approval for the replacement from HP, which they themselves are prepared to honour?
I included the HP Replacement authority on my return packaging, which just seems to be ignored.
Shocking service when I urgently need the laptop not any refund!

When you return goods, you do not get your refund and the staff at customer service never gets back to you once you phone them to ask were is you refund not recieved after you send the goods back more than 2 weeks ago. And they NEVER reply on your emails. NEVER!!!

Discrapancy on stock
My name is Buyelwa Makapela I am a seller on take a lot .Recently I noticed that my stock is missing actually since October 2020.I have sent emails to Tania Bixa and Support no one has responded .I have log the query on the system as advised by Tania and no response .I have sent more than 10 email to make a follow up and no response .I have loaded 8 Dustbin and Breadbin sets for the price of 999.00 only 3 were shipped to customer and one was returned because it was damaged by Take a lot 4 of them are no where to be found .I need assistance urgently .I am not a happy seller at the moment .Take a lot cares about the external stakeholders not about their internal stakeholders who make this happen behind the closed door .Please help me I have a family to look after .The ref no for the query is ********.

Very angry ????
I have ordered trough takealot before and never got my delivery on the 1st day we agreed on, this time they out did them selves as 3days in a row they said they couldn't get hold of me and the 4th day they said my address is incomplete and the we call me! This was Thursday 04/12/2020 even today no call from them and my question is why was it complete the 1st time. Now am trying to call there customer care service and one number said they open at 7:00 am now it's 8:30 but it's not going through then the other one said my account is block which works when I order. How can I get help???

Poor delivery
Takealot deliveries use to be on time, but lately they don't keep up to their delivery dates and incomplete or wrong orders seems to becoming normal. My latest experience is some items were not in box and the excuse was lost in transit, yet the box is sealed. My impression is that they are not coping with the number of orders and unless they find the solution to their problems it will progressively become worse.
They do not live up to their slogan, "Takealot delivery team ensures all customers have a seamless experience every time". To get through telephonically is at times a long wait and there is no email address to send an email.

My parcel, order number ********, was not delivered on the said date of delivery, which is the 3rd of November 2020.
Takealot did not even bother to send a message or call me to update me what the problem is. I had to take the effort myself and call from one number to another until I had to discover that my parcel was lost at the Cape Town warehouse. How so? Are there no policy and procedures in place? Are client parcels not guarded and taken care of? I am busy with an urgent project I need that parcel as in yesterday.
The level of service is extremely poor and very concerning, this will definitely be my last use of placing orders with takealot or referring anyone to it. I request urgent attention to my matter, I cannot wait for more days for another replacement that will be lost again at the warehouse. I suggest an immediate refund be paid back to me so I can purchase the product from a much more trusted and reliable store.
This is unacceptable and very poor service especially from a well known company like takealot!!!

We are currently also VERY UPSET as our order was also lost, and then we received and e-mail just stating they have dropped it off at the FILLING STATION!!!!!!! What the hec?????? REALLY ... they have no concern or care in the world if you receive your parcel or not!!!! No contact number or head office or director to talk to ....

Very disappointed do not recommend
I bought a popular book in ebook format the heading is English and as original auther, only to find out its in a foreign language, they refuse to refund or exchange. Their advertisement on the product is misleading.

Firstly I would like say POOR SERVICE From Takealot
I ordered these Fine living 21 set and got Safa Mafy 21 piece set
Logged a return and they came to collect the pots, today i am told there is no stock on the Fine Living-21 piece whilst they are still advertised on the takealot app and website. Beats me how they can be referred to as out of stock. Mind you I paid for these pots on the 25 August, they had a 3 days sale I got them at R1299.00 unfortunately for me i can't get the pots anymore because they went up from the initial price.
Not only did i receive wrong pots but they pasted the barcode of the pots i initially ordered the Fine living-21 piece on the wrong item. That is fraudulent, who does that.

Its both annoying and time consuming to be the one always following up no one bothered to update me on progress.

I want my money because clearly Takealot doesn't want my business
