APPALLING SERVICE
I am utterly disgusted by the service delivery from Postnet at Southdale. The staff show no competence of customer etiquette whatsoever. A staff member was assisting the gentleman I had sent to the store to print wedding invitations. He had queried how much it would cost to print on the heavier duty paper (cardboard feel), the staff member said R8.00 per page, the gentleman agreed and authorized for the invitations to be printed. The staff member then asked Simphiwe another staff member to take over and assist the client whilst he went to help another customer. Simphiwe verified the e-mail he received from the client and began printing the invitations in which he had printed the invitations on normal paper thereafter the client told him that he supposed to print the invitations on the cardboard as he had instructed. Simphiwe then printed the invitations on the correct paper but still charged for the ones he did on the normal paper.

I contacted the store to query why was I charged for their incorrect printing and the staff member who answered the phone (the first staff member that assisted) said that the client did not tell Simphiwe to print on the cardboard.
Firstly the staff member should not have left one client to assist another, secondly had that happened he should have told Simphiwe what the client requested for and thirdly staff members should verify a clients specifications before doing the work.

They refused to give a refund and that is absolute nonsense, we as clients are not liable for the incompetence of an enterprises staff members.

I expect a refund, clients should not have to deal with such appalling service from such a well-known company.
