UNETHICAL WARRANTY PRACTICES
I went to Makro Centurion and bought a R7000 Asus vivobook, 9 MO ths later it refused to turn on and as it is still under warranty I took it in for repairs at the Centurion Makro branch. They said it would take 6 weeks but 12 weeks later I receive an SMS saying I need to approve a quote. I went in to the branch and apparently they said that the motherboard broke and that the warranty doesn't cover it... Which no one told me and no terms and conditions pointed out. The quote for fixing the motherboard was R12, 000. IT'S UNBELIEVABLE!!! They sold me a faulty motherboard and now charge me double the laptop's original price to fix it. The staff were very unhelpful and even if I reject the quote I'm forced to pay a rejection fee... So not even the check up was under warrantee. It's unethical and basically daylight robbery!!! Never trust this branch or even the Makro brand
