Poor Customer Service from Nike East Rand Mall
I am Metro Police Officer and is regarded as an "Essential Worker" that does not have to join a queue. Tumelo and Lesiba that is working at the NIKE shop in East Rand Mall Boksburg were absolutely rude to me and did not allow me to enter the shop if I was not willing to join the queue. I was told to wait outside when I requested to see the Manager. According to the them, that rule/policy does not apply to "NIKE" since Level 5, so regardless whether you are an essential worker or not, the same rule of queuing applies to everyone? Their manner of approach is TOTALLY disgusting and they had the audacity to even question me on how I do my job as an officer, I was asked "why am I at the Mall and not on duty???". I do not report to "NIKE's employees, they do not know my working hours and have no right to question me in anyway. This was completely embarrassing, I had to turn back and leave like a fool. Nike has lost the plot if this is the way customers are treated. Its sad to see that the consumer experience and satisfaction is no longer a priority, the very people that builds these large brands. I hope this complaint reaches the relevant authority before I am forced to take this matter further...

Regards,
Disgusted Customer

Terrible service from Nike Sandton
Hi Nike Sa

After wearing Nike for as many years as I can remember and being a true brand admirer, I have to inform you of terrible service and mismanagement of today’s Nike drop on the black and white dunk low.

Knowing nikes 1st come 1st serve policy, myself and my wife decided to get early Valentine gifts for each other by waking up early to be in line for the dunk drop. Knowing full well Nike opens at 9am we had arrived at 6:45 and were 10th in the queue. Nike employees then opened the doors at 9am and advised that there were no pairs available. Strange to say the least as 5 min later they allowed the first 5 people into the store. At which point we patiently awaited our turn. 5 minutes later to our surprise another 10 customers were in the store however they were all behind us in the initial queue and had entered through the door downstairs that was previously shut. Eventually it was our turn only to be told that they were out of stock.

Saddest part about all of this was making the effort not only to be there on time but also organise a babysitter.

This is absolutely appalling, especially as it was a women’s sneaker and from the 3 women in the queue non of them were able to secure a pair.

I hope this complaint reaches the relevant authority before I am forced to take this further onto social media platforms as well as hello Peter.

Look forward to hearing from you as there is clear and evident backdooring taking place.

Regards
A very disgruntled shopper.

Nike Springfield
Not impressed at all !! All stores in the center opened at or before 9am , Nike opens late . I got to the store at 8:45 and know there is a queue , but thought I would get in on the first bunch as the store capacity says 49 and I was 28th in the queue. Only 20 customers are being allowed in at a time and spacing markers outside the store are 1 meter at best . Security staff refused to even answer my questions and were totally arrogant. I am a huge fan of the brand , but this store might just change that for me

Racial hyprocicy
Why is it not OK to use Native-American images in sports logos in the USA, but it is OK in South Africa? Is this another case of hypocritical and unconscious bias?
As noted in the website for National Congress of American Indians (https://www.ncai.org/proudtobe) you start to see why there are blatant blind spots in recognizing how South Africans of color use images that are disrespectful and perpetuate negative stereotypes.
Such is the case with the logo for the football club in South Africa, Kaiser Chiefs, who use a logo that is similar to those such as the Washington Redskins, Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Indians and Chicago Blackhawks, which are among several American sports teams that still use Native American slurs or imagery that have long been described as racist.
Sponsors of such clubs in the USA, such as Adidas have agreed to work with the clubs to change the club names and logos, yet in South Africa there is an absolute denial that Kaiser Chiefs use of the American Indian ‘Chief’ logo is demeaning or racist whatsoever.
The hypocrisy is quite stark, given the EFF’s recent outcry over an advert used to promote Unilever’s shampoo brand called TREsemmé in Clicks stores and the subsequent protests surrounding the alleged ‘racist’ advert which referred to black women's hair as "dry, damaged and frizzy" while labelling white hair as "normal".
So, the questions remain as to what the Club (Kaiser Chiefs) and their local and International sponsors, such as Nike, Toyota, Vodacom, Supersport, Black label, Medshield, Protours, Kaelo will do. How will Kaiser Chiefs and the sponsors redress this?
If there is ever to be consistency with calling out racism, surly the Kaiser Chiefs brand and logo need to change, otherwise the hypocrisy will just remain.

I bought a shoe on the 23rd of October 2020 for my wife she only wore once the shoe is bending to the inside on the left foot and hurting her ankle. The store refused to take them.

NIKE NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY♿????
I was at the Nike Factory store with my husband and two 6 year old kids. I am disabled with a prosthesis. It is storming outside and there is a long queue outside.. I went to the security to ask if we can enter and he said my husband must wait in the car with the children as I am not in a wheelchair. My husband was waiting in the car with the children while I was waiting to speak to a manager. Finally after waiting for 10 min in the rain, I spoke to the manager who had a nasty attitude with me, saying that I have to shop alone or wait for my husband inside while he stand with my 2 children outside in the storm.. Yes I don't have a crutch as I lean now and then on my husband and he has to support me by fitting on takkies and clothes.. I was so humiliated as we are regular buyers from Nike and for me as a disabled person to be rejected and treated like that was so humiliating to say the least. I had to come back and sit with the children in the car while my husband is standing in the long queue. I have serious back problems and need his support. The manager is Megan Jacob's.
