I flew home to my late uncle’s grave, i didn't know what to expect, but to my greatest surprise, i found it in complete order . The new management cars so much about the Cemetery. They haven been maintaining the cemetery and ensuring there’s adequate security. Most of the tombstones are properly installed and neatly placed. The fountain where the remains of those cremated is well kept and has been reconstructed to a point you can't see what’s in those boxes. I could easily find my uncle’s grave, all the grass was cut and garden properly maintained. I was so happy and pleased. The current management is keeping the cemetery in excellent condition and our loved ones are lying in dignity.

Thank you Gloria Memorial Park for the awesome services you rendered to us. They are very supportive, sympathetic and will always go an extra mile to help us. At first we were very sceptical, but i followed someone who had had an experience there and i could not have ever regretted my decision. I mean Gloria Memorial Park team Interacted with us at a personal level, they gave us their best. One particular worker that went out of her way to be of assistance was Eleanor (The Grave supervisor), also I was very impressed with the Tombstone and The service delivery.

This company is a scam and a whole lot of crooks. They take your money and then they don't deliver. I have asked my deposit back because I have been waiting for year for my mother's tombstone to be done. Nothing. Then I decided I am done with them and wanted a refund. I followed necessary steps and it is now 2 months and still no refund and refund should be paid in 31 days. These people are crooks. They ignore your calls. The manager Janine is no manager at all. She is useless. This whole company is useless and needs to be closed down because they rob people!. I am disgusted by this place! DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THIS PLACE.

this whole process in August to till this day the tombstone has not been done. I keep getting the run around from Elvita the consultant I've been dealing and funny enough Eleanor the supervisor does not communicate. I've tired of this whole thing and quite frankly I feel disrespected and I do not take kindly in suhc service. If necessary I will take matters seriously and resort to different measures. Utterly disgusting by their lack of professionalism and service!!!!!!!!

My Grandmother passed way last year 2017 Oct, we paid the full amount for the Tombstone there and then. up to this day 2Nov18 that Eleanor woman has not even made a foundation for Tombstone yet. she always says she is busy and will get back to me but never does. even during the week she is always busy, and when you call her she sounds like she just woke up and not in the mood to help. as if she is doing me a favor. she has been promising me pictures for the past 8 months and I am still waiting.

I have family who traveled from the Eastern Cape for the unveiling of the Tombstone only to find out that its not ready. I have now approached my Lawyers to sue them for the travel funds.

We first used the services of Gloria Memorial Park Cemetery in 2009 when our dear mother passed away. We are Baha'is by religion and therefor have very specific requirements for the burial. It was encouraging to experience that the staff at the the time were ready and wiling to accommodate our needs. Our dear sister passed away a month ago and we decided to make use of the same services. We were amazed and surprised that Eleanor remembered our mother, where she was buried and details of the specific requirements requested at the time. This no doubt was very encouraging and we started the arrangements for my sister's burial. We received from day one the most caring, dedicated and professional services from Eleanor and the rest of the staff. We felt welcomed and cared for and very comfortable with burying our sister at this graveyard. We noticed that the area around the graveyard needed to be cleaned and it was immediately actioned. They even managed to get the tombstone for my mother and sister done in less than two days.

We wish to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Eleanor and the rest of the staff for all the wonderful services they provided during a very difficult time for us as a family. We highly recommend Gloria Memorial Park Cemetery.

BAD....bad and just the worst people you can deal with in time of bereavement.If there were a court I can take these people to I would because listen to my story.I feel so sad for my wife and what she must be going through with these animals because i think they don't have hearts.Firstly my father in law past away and because we have a family plot it was the wish of my mother in law to be buried in the same grave as her husband.When she pass on they buried her in the wrong grave only to be taken out to be reburied the Monday.Now we are trying to fit a tombstone and it been a year now and we still waiting and we already paid.they always to busy.I think busy robbing their customers and clients.Please can anybody advise me what to do with these people because this is unfair to a lot of people they dealing with.

Very bad service, I have been dealing with Eleanor since May 2015 and my mother's tombstone is still incomplete. Eleanor has since been avoiding all my calls and messages. It's sad that the only contact number in your page is Eleanor's. If there's anyone else who can assist please contact me. I'm very very disappointed with the service I've received from Eleanor's.

We had the unveiling of my father and brother yesterday (5/6). After speaking to 4 people I had to repeat my requests everytime I called. We paid the 50% deposit and the balance. So there was no reason for them to say that we delayed the completion of our tombstone, as monies were paid in way before they even asked for it. We arrived at 10h00 the Sunday morning, a time given by them, only to start looking for the tombstone (expecting to see a white cloth) - only to find a black painted "slab". Fortunately I had the mobile no and called the lady who eventually came to see us after the 2nd call. She said they would be bring the tombstone in the next 5 minutes. Note by then it was almost 11h00. They eventually rocked up after I called again. This time it was to tell me that they didn't paint the tombstone. They pitched with the tombstone and a can of spray in a wheelbarrow and laid the stone on the black slab. All we were told was "sorry". I called the office this morning (6/5) to lodge a complaint, only to be told that no-one is working today and they will get back to me tomorrow. This was no UNVEILING whatsoever. I will NEVER do business with these people again will not recommend them. They spoilt the entire event for my family. My mother was so distraught to see the shoddy work being done after payment was received and they "confirmed" that they would be ready for us.

We buried my grandmother at Gloria Memorial on 19 December 2015. We have arranged that a bigger tombstone be set up (so as to include her name on there) as follows:
1. With a base (as there is hardly any grass around the grave) and
2. The tombstone to include holes for flowers.
Simple enough right? WRONG.

It is now February 2016 and thus far, only the base has been set up (after much complaining that none of the above has been done).IN ADDITION to the above, one of the names on the tombstone is now spelt incorrectly, whereas previously it was correct. One step forward, two steps back! Their reason behind all of this is that they've just been very busy-- but not too busy to take our money it seems. What a mess!!!
