Dr Robert Joseph Hartley - Germiston

Doctor Hartley needs to be commended as he truly is in this profession because he cares for people. He treated my mom Mrs Da Silva with compassion even though she is 81 and doesn't speak a word of English. He was at her bedside late into the night after ripping out her drip for the umpteenth time and never complained. We are truly grateful for all he does.

My husband and I are eternally greatful that our paths crossed with Dr RJ Hartley’s. This doctor still goes the extra mile for his patients and his dedication for what he does is nothing less than commendable and ethical. A thousand thank yous Dr - may God Bless your handwork for many more years to come.

Found Dr Hartley to be 'down to earth', interested and thorough as well as being very practical by doing my procedure in his rooms instead of having to arrange a day for an in-hospital ordeal. Felt completely at ease and would highly recommend him.

Over the years Dr Hartley has been a kind and compassionate doctor to our family. He is currently helping my brother get through a horrible gout cyst on his foot that requires cleaning and dressing every second day. He is available on weekends for patients who need him. Why do people complain so much? Most dentists and doctors run over time allotted as they are caring for the patient in front of them. Would you prefer them to say time is up and not finish treating you? This is life and the good ones are worth waiting for.

We had an appointment to see Dr Hartley at his rooms opposite Bedford Clinic, we had to wait 1,5 hours, absolutely shocking service from all three ladies working behind the front desk. We walked right out of his rooms, no explanation was given from the Drs side. Running late.... was the their excuse. Bad service.

Dr. Hartley removed limpomas from my neck and legs as I do not have a medical aid , he was kind enough to do it in his rooms. I only paid for consumables used and he did the removal on a Saturday morning so that I didn't have to miss work. He really went the extra mile as i'm sure its not practice that surgeons sees patients on a Saturday, let alone operating to help. I have a no scars. A real caring doctor that goes the extra mile.

Dr Hartley did a bit of a hack job on my husband as he couldn't even make an incision in a straight line. His wife also handles his accounting and she doesn't have a clue what she's doing. Trying to get an invoice or a statement out of her is asking to much. 6 months down the line and nothing. He also added charges to our account which our medical aid, Discovery, has indicated we do not need to pay as these amounts are in excess of the agreed upon amounts.

Afternoon I would like to know if Dr Hartly can repair trigger fingers & burst elbow sack.
