No water for 9 days still counting!!!
I have been sitting without water the past nine days because of faulty meter box. We’ve been communicating with City of Cape Town everyday but all we get is reference numbers no one coming to check the water meter box. This is not healthy at all, please can someone assist me urgently!!!

A piece of crap
The aqualoc meter is constantly failing and once again I'm out of water. Can't get hold of the standby. This is illegal to be without water for so long

Worst Meter
Had a working meter before this without any problems. We have been using 60kl per person on average and the City still decided to install this meter. With this meter we have had endless hassles and have been without water since Friday and the technicians don't even seem to know how to work on these meters. Have been without water for 4 days now...

Shocking service.
We had people from the City call as at the gate on Friday to say they have to install a new meter. We are 3 houses on a big property getting water from one meter / source. We have not had water since Friday and it is Sunday 5pm. I have phoned and got a Reference number. Nobody came to fix..I have phoned again, holding on for 10 minutes, no answer, then send an sms, then phoned again and still no water !!!!!!!This is in Somerset West.

3rd time this year 3 business have been with out water because of faulty Aqualoc
3rd time this year 3 business have been with out water because of faulty Aqualoc meter. Keeps on blocking water to the building. According to the Call Centre, there are only two technicians servicing the entire area of Cape Town. If you know you have faulty products that keep on failing, you need more technicians surely? Cheep is dear.

Worst quality product and service
We were without water for 5 days. City of Cape Town call centre, sms or e-mail reporting system is 100% useless. Get your act together Cape Town and DA. I had to phone my ward councillor directly (numerous times over days) and threaten to go to the media. Stop installing aqua lock meters! Seriously far sub standard product.

Shocking Product
Second time in less that a year and half that we are sitting without water. Last time was three days. I am now sitting on 12 hours without water- No one is interested in helping...

Aqua Loc meters should be removed from the market completely
These meters are clearly sub standard and have not been researched enough, too many people reporting failure of these meters so soon after installation. I have been without water for three days now and after countless phone calls to the City have had no contractor come out to fix the meter. Why have these poor quality products been allowed to make their way into the market place, if they can't even last more than a year without failing how are they supposed to be a reliable solution?!?!?

My meter has been fixed more than 3 times. I have been bathing in bottle water for the past week. Service request has been sent through and nobody has bothered showing up.

This company gets 1 star because I can't give them zero. I am overseas and for the past 7 days my wife and three kids have been bathing with bottled water from the shops and flushing the toilets with buckets of swimming pool water!
After a WEEK of phone calls and eventually messaging the CoCT on Facebook and the ensuing sloping shoulder accountability dodging, our plight finally reached the ears of Aqua-Loc. that too was only after 'escalating' the matter.

It is illegal to leave people without water. My families human rights have been violated for a full week.
My wife has had to bath herself using the water she boiled her eggs in this morning!!

I want that Aqua-Loc piece of sh1t removed and a regular meter installed like the one that I had before that worked for YEARS!!!

I WILL take this further.
