I arranged for sympathy flowers to be sent to my daughter in law at the loss of her baby girl. The flowers were to be delivered on the Tuesday as specified but arrived a day late as she was being discharged from the hospital. The arrangement was not cheap and consisted of all white flowers but when it arrived at the hospital the flowers were already brown on the edges and definitely not fresh. On the day my order was placed i received confirmation from the Managing Director about my order and when the order was placed and delivery date specified. A letter came back from the florist in tzaneen stating that my order was placed a day later and that the delivery was the same day. Obviously somebody is not doing their job properly. I will never use Teleflorist again.

Do not order from this place. They do not have oversight over the flowers sent out from their outsourced affiliates. I sent a bunch of flowers and was far from the picture and description - they were off colour and flower type using very cheap equivalents. I emailed them and to be fair were prompt to respond apologising and that they would send another bunch. The second bunch was just as bad and maybe while on colour, not equivalent flowers as illustrating. When emailed again was basically told they don't have oversight over the flowers sent out by their distributors. This is not acceptable, they should and by knowing what they are sending out know the standard is acceptable. I expect a lot of people don't check the flowers sent and so maybe get away with this more often than they should.
They have since not responsed and think this service is acceptable. Avoid and find another florist. See pictures attached, pic 1 what I chose, pic 2 first bunch and pic 3 replacement. Unacceptable!

Unfortunately the level of customer service I received from the 'Managing Director' was far from satisfactory. The answers I got while trying to gain more info were short and abrupt. In the end I cancelled my order and used interflora instead which is a shame as I have used their services in the past and nothing like this ever happened.

My husband was very disappointed when my flowers arrived for Valentines Day. I recently found out he spent R1026.00 on them. He bought a bouquet, upgraded it to maximum size, ordered it with 2 balloons and a box of chocolates.

When I got the flowers they were by no means a big bouquet, (the size of a bunch of flowers from Woolworths, 12 red roses and a few lilies). There were no chocolates and 2 small helium balloons.

He wrote a letter to Teleflorist that day asking them to define Maxium size as well as asking why no chocolates were delivered. They have yet to reply, I think this is a poor show.

I was obviously delighted to receive flowers, but the whole experience was a bit of a damper with my husband feeling like he was ripped off.

Paid R700 for flowers for my mothers birthday that were never delivered. When I sent a follow up mail the following day enquiring about this, I was mailed with a rude (in CAPS) mail from the MD. Not apologizing for the lack of delivery, but saying my card was declined. On a follow up mail explaining that in fact I had actually been charged, and if he could send me proof, I got another series of abusive mails from him.

What should have happened was a polite email saying obviously there has been a mixup, lets try resolve this asap so your mother can get some birthday flowers. I'm sure what service industry thinks abusing their paying clients is ok.

I cannot get my money back from the bank without this proof, that he wont send me. this whole process has left such a bitter taste in my mouth and worst of all my mother never received any flowers for her birthday. I now have to start a process with the South African CPA reporting this fraudulent company in the hope of getting my money back.
