I had to pay R5000 for the bail of a colleague, Yolandi was apparently the attorney to handle it. Included in the R5000 was the bail charge of R1500.

They took their time the whole day. Eventually without success and various excuses I got my own lawyer after hours to sort it out.

I had to pay my own attorney as well as the bail charge of R1500.

I phoned Yolandi numerous of times, she kept telling me she will stay at her office until my colleague is released. When I phoned at 16:00h Yolandi was drunk.

Yolandi was supposed to be an attorney, the police officer phoned me and said this lady is drunk and she is not even an attorney. She cannot even proceed even if she wanted to, because Yolandi is not an attorney.

Yolandi went over to the police officer, attacked the police officer and damaged the car of one of the personnel working with the file of my colleague.

The police officer said she will make a case against Yolandi and Yolandi replied saying she is also making a case against the police officer.

Yolandi and them do not answer any calls and they are not refunding me a single sent of the R5000 that I paid for the whole circus I got to experience.

Reason why I am writing this is that you should not fall into the same trap as I did, as well as the fact that if you ever want to press charges please use me as a witness! People like these do not deserve to be operating a business.

My son was accused of a crime that he did not commit. We approached Yolanda for legal assistance. We had to pay R5000 towards a bail application hearing , but the charges were dropped before even going to court. We paid for services that they did not provide. Surely we are entitled for a full refund. Send an e-mail requisting a refund or even just partial refund for the money paid. No response.

Hi Mr Van Wyngaard. Im not quite sure whether to Thank you for coming to my assistance when you needed or simply bark at you for the ignorance I received from professionals in your firm. Running after Advocate Winters and Yolandi for almost 3 months just for a bail receipt...? Does that sound reasonable to you? I have rather old and sickly grandparents who's been in and out your offices numerous times on my behalf over these months and this morning, the best Yolandi can do is insist on providing only a copy of my bail receipt, unnecessarily persisting on not refunding my bail money, claiming your firms fee's and then completely change course after assuring me she would arrive at Roodepoort Magistrates Court this morning, I don't see how you find it convenient to just send her to Krugersdorp court. As qualified and professional attorneys, you abover anyone should understand the importance of presenting the bail receipt. I know your attorneys lied to me about the bail amount, but I did not want the money back!!! Even if it was extra, seems like you got real wealthy with it!!! I have a life to get moving with!!! One of my consultants where arrested on Friday eve for a company number plate aexposed on my c350 mercedes benz apposed to the actual number plate which corresponds with the licence disc on my car. I called Yolindi who requested I bring in R3500 who said she could get him bail and which would be done by 12.I messaged her a few times before 12 to ask her how it was going.12 came and went and still she couldnt give me a time or answer.At one stage she asked me to leave her alone so she could do her work.I was appalled by the level of service received and when another R3-4000 WAS REQUESTED from me as she mentioned she could only try after 6pm when the new shift came on i asked her to pay me the money back minus what it had cost her up to that time and I would find other representation.Her response was that its after hours and I could call her on monday morning.She told my collegue to enjoy his stay in the cells which I found an utter disgrace.I employed another attorney who charged me R2500/GOT HIM BAIL and dealt with me very professionally.I will never make use of her sevices again and wish to advise that a refund of a portion of the amount I paid to her be paid back to me by Monday before end of working day.Unfortunately money doesnt grow on trees and Iam not prepared to throw away my R2970.00 DEPOSIT i paid her for doing zip .I feel that she took full advantage of the situation and took a huge chance by requesting more money when she had done absolutely nothing.
