I've had 2 major back fusions both done by Dr Chite. I've been reading some seriously negative reviews on this site about him. Some complain about the charges. All specialists are expensive. One person said that the op was not worth the cost of it. Ridiculous. My screws and rods cost R********. That's what the company that supplies the hardware for my back cost. Not Dr Chite's fault.
Everyone is complaining about the costs but I didn't read any complaints about how unsuccessful their op was. Neither any praise on his professional manner, understanding and gentlemanly demeanour.
If you don't want to pay for the best rather suffer in silence. He is the best there is.

@Paddy yes people are complaining about charges and ALL very similar experiences of VERY unprofessional service- my friend went through the same thing, still waiting on a report! she is in nappies from a Tarlov cyst on her spine and was told ONLY Chite can help her. When you don’t even receive a report from all the tests and time you spent in hospital then what are you paying for? Of course you will question what you are paying for. It’s ridiculous that there are so many people complaining about the same issues and still he carries on practicing! I’m very shocked by this Doctors lack of respect for his profession and patients and I am disgusted that he still charges people and never delivers. It’s a question of integrity!

Hi Paddy, can you please assist me with some feedback om your Fusions done . My mum had a fusion done with Dr Chite 3 years back and he now recommended that she remove the rods and screws. This is because it is causing her alot of pain on a daily basis. Have you had yours removed ? Can you contact me for a quick discussion please ? Would appreciate.

I would also like to know as I also had a fusion 3 years ago with Chite (successfully) I have also been in a lot of pain around the OP site.
