Unfortunately I didn't hear the intercom when Mr Winks arrived for our appointment, and understandably he left after waiting a while. I felt bad for having inconvenienced him, and tried to phone him, sent a number of sms apologies and asked him to contact me to set up another time. He ignored all of my communications. While I get it that he must have been annoyed for having his time wasted, I consider it unprofessional and passive aggressive to not at least accept the genuine apology, and have the courtesy to call back. Mr Winks is quick to run down the competition in Cape Town, and I have no doubt that he is a good technician. But I am not impressed with his interpersonal conduct. Just make sure that you don't get on his wrong side!
