Disappointing customer treatment
On Monday, 30 November 2020, I phoned to the Silver lakes Makro to enquire whether they had a Samsung 100 cm Smart TV in stock. The receptionist put me through to a lady who would, according to her, be able to assist. Unfortunately I did not get this lady's name. But she does need training in telephone etiquette. She indicated that the store did have the specific TV in stock. I later arrived at the store to purchase the TV. On arrival nobody knew about the phone call and there was no stock. The staff did not seem interested to assist me. At times they were nowhere to be seen and needless to say, they could not find the TVs that they said they had in stock. I wasted my time with Makro and will not visit any Makro store in the future. My shopping experience was not a positive one.
