AzarGen is a biotechnology company that uses cutting-edge genetic engineering and synthetic biology techniques to produce biopharmaceuticals with high value. We use plants as bioreactors to develop unique, patentable compounds, with a particular focus on complex therapeutic proteins. To demonstrate the effectiveness of our plant-based expression platform, we have a lead candidate that is a recombinant human therapeutic protein.
