Zuka - Port Shepstone

Zuka is an innovative initiative that combats unemployment and food insecurity while also addressing environmental issues. By utilizing vermi-composting and biotechnology, the project transforms garden, fruit, and vegetable waste into a two-in-one liquid organic compost and pest repellent formula. Furthermore, Red Wriggler worms are harvested and their excrement is processed into an organic fertilizer. These solutions provide an affordable alternative to traditional waste management methods that help reduce air, ground, and water pollution.
