GreenFingers Mobile - Cape Town

GreenFingers Mobile is an innovative mobile technology platform that was established in 2015 to help facilitate inclusive agriculture in Africa. It works by managing and financing large groups of smallholder farmers in value chains, replacing traditional pen and paper management systems with real-time big data. This enables efficient inclusion of smallholder farmers in global value chains, reducing transaction costs and helping to alleviate poverty, improve food security, and build climate-resilient economies. Since its pilot program in 2013, the technology solution has been operating in three countries and managing more than 5,000 smallholder farmers across commodities, such as ABE chilli, soy, sorghum, and maize.
