Dragonfly Aerospace has a mission to revolutionize the way we view the Earth by creating compact, high-performance imaging satellites and payloads for large imaging constellations. Our innovative technology will provide persistent views of the Earth in a wide range of spectrums, allowing us to gain invaluable business intelligence and improve the lives of people around the world. Our 25-year history of components and design approach stems from our very first South African microsatellite, SUNSAT, which was launched in 1999. Our team has been part of every space mission since South Africa entered the space race, and we are proud to have founded our company in 2020 and established our headquarters in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa.
