Botanic Earth Initiative - Cape Town

The goal of this project is to restore habitats, take care of the ecosystem and all the living organisms in our biosphere, and create a balance between deforestation, reforestation, and biodiversity over a period of 500 years. This would involve planting 800 trillion plants around the globe in the first 200 years, with the intention of doubling that amount for the following 300 years. With this, we can strive towards a healthier, more sustainable environment for all.
