Mothercity Liquor - Montague Gardens

After years of experience in the liquor trade, Mothercity Liquor was finally established in December 2017, the journey began in a small store on Kloof Street in the heart of Cape Town.

Our goal was to create a store that offers exceptional customer service and an experience that left customers walking out feeling great! We worked hard to find the best deals and remain competitive within the liquor market, while keeping our focus on our customer service.

Since opening the first store in 2017, we have expanded - opening another 2 stores by 2019. We also began working on an online store.

In 2020, the Covid-19 Pandemic hit us hard, we ended up having to sell our Sea Point store and made a massive effort to push forward in the e-Commerce space, focusing a lot more on our online

offering. We've kept our same goal in mind and continue to work towards offering our customers the best possible service, finding the best deals, rare finds and exciting new products.

In February 2021, we made the decision to take our business completely online. We sold our last remaining physical store and moved our operations to a new warehouse where we pick, pack and send out our orders!

We have an experienced and dynamic team that will assist you with all your needs. With many years of experience in the liquor industry, working in bottle stores, distributions, events, restaurants, bars etc. You name it we've been there.

Our team has grown over the years, but we are all extremely passionate and our core focus is on service delivery. We're always on the lookout for new and exciting drinks and deals to share with our customers. Whether it is beers, wines or whisky's, we are on the look out for the best products and deals ALL the time.
