Betty's - Lonehill

Betty has been a true labour of love, fueled by passion and driven by desire. Now before you go all "Fifty Shades" on me, let me give you a bit of the back-story...
I decided to combine my decade of experience in the beauty industry, as a skin care therapist and salon owner, with a few of my favourite pastimes...online shopping, makeup, social media and basically all things aesthetically pleasing.
In 2011 I sadly bid farewell to my clients to follow my other love, let's call him Mr Betty, from the bright city lights of Jozi to the warm sun, sand and sea of KZN. Shortly after the big move, we were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of our first baby girl, which prompted us to make the huge decision of putting my career on hold, which was initially meant to be just for a couple of years,

so I could dive head-first into the crazy-beautiful-sleep-deprived world of being a stay-at-home mom. Well....a couple of years turned into 7, and the Durban move turned into a few more moves around the country and 2 more babies thrown into the mix. The fact that I survived multiple house moves, multiple newborn babies (often all at the same time!), and everything that goes with it is astounding!
What doesn't surprise me however, is that the urge to get back on the entrepreneurial bicycle was still burning strong. As was my desire to prove to myself (and to other moms out there) that not only is it possible to get back into the workforce, but with determination and plenty of hard work, to take that workforce by the horns while realizing one's dreams.
And so, cut to 2018...with the boom (and my new-found interests) in social media and e-commerce, combined with my original passion of beauty and skin care, many late nights and anxiety-ridden mornings, I am ready to "birth" my fourth "baby", so to speak....her name is Betty...she is a beauty...she is a beast....she is whatever the hell she wants to be.
I am somewhat of a perfectionist, a lover of good vibes, great products and excellent customer service, which I endeavour to weave into every aspect of the Betty brand and her services. So do join me on this new adventure, as I learn and grow from strength to strength, from these humble beginnings with just a few brands and products, to what will someday hopefully grow into something great.
