I AM A DREAMER FOUNDATION - Rustenburg

I AM A DREAMER FOUNDATION is a child-focused initiative that was founded by four community-minded youth as a response to increasing number of (Orphans and Vulnerable Children) OVCs. The foundation was founded by Mr. Mpakanyane Moeketsi Simon (BA Soc. Work Degree, Diploma in Leadership and Management) and Mr. Sebothome Katlego (Cert. in Gender Based Violence, Cert. Money Skills, Peoples skills, entrepreneur skills and an ambassador of Gender Based Violence, Health and Occupation Certificate) with the assistance of Miss Sebothome Keotshepile. The vision of the foundation caught the interest of other youth from the community who later joined us. I Am A Dreamer Foundation is located in Freedom Park, Rustenburg, North West Province in South Africa.

We are going to achieve this through educating children to confidently address life’s challenges, thrive in the global economy and catalyze positive change.

• Helping dreamers become achievers.
We want the communities in which each child has the opportunity of optimum growth and development, and each family is able to provide the best for its children.

OBJECTIVES
 The foundation seeks to enhance the material, physical, cognitive and emotional well-being of orphans and other vulnerable children and their caregivers through a structured system of family strengthening, care and support.
 The foundation also aims to protect and promote the best interests and welfare of Orphans and Vulnerable children.
 The foundation again seeks to enable children to overcome social problems through economic empowerment of individuals, families and communities.
