Fredmar Caravan Rentals - Mossel Bay

This lady is a Thief and Lyer!!!! Spare yourself, dont ever use them!!! Pathetic service and totally unacceptable!!! We booked a caravan (which had a big fridge inside) with Eileen. On the day of arrival she sent a message and said the caravan we booked, tent is torn (which was a lei, we saw the caravan on another stand at the same place we camped) she will give us another caravan. But didnt tell us or send a photo of how the caravan will look. So when we arrived late night there was a very old caravan that was very dirty and full of spiders and had only a bar fridge that wouldn’t work for me and my big family for 2 weeks. I phoned her and told her we are not happy with the caravan for that is not what we booked and paid for. She said she can give us another caravan and gave as “Frans” that was more similar to “Major” with a big fridge, but not with 5 beds like the “Major” that we booked from the beginning. We had to pay R750 breaking deposit- now she doesn’t want to pay back the full amount and said she is charging us for changing the caravan and that we left sweet papers in the caravan, and for that to clean she is charging a cleaning fee??? Really??? We left that caravan clean and I personally broomed it and washed everything nicely- she is lying just to find a reason not to pay back our money. I tried to phone her but she ignores all my phone calls and blocked all my messages...... Pathetic!

Loved the service and support that Eileen and her team provided to us over the December holidays. The caravan that we hired was set up for us at the site and was fully equipped and in excellent condition as we expected.

We loved the holiday, and will certainly make use of Fredmar Caravan Rentals again.
