FASTFORWARD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE - Makhado

FCDC is a multiservice community development centre registered under the laws of the Republic of South Africa (Act 71 of 2008). The centre is a one stop institution structured like a computer system with one operating system managing many application softwares. This maintains the same quality of service delivery across the whole organisation. Each department operates independently with its own staff and a head of operations.
FCDC is the first of its kind in Southern Africa that has taken a radical step towards people centred development with the aim of minimising dependence on government. Education is one area which continues to marginalise millions of people in the region, over
500 000 (2017) disabled people in South Africa alone who have no access to education and work skills

training and it seems there is no one taking this issue seriously, hence FCDC has introduced a unit specifically tasked to deal with that inequality mostly faced by women and the disabled people. The department of land use and food production fulfils the saying: No line of manual training is of more value than agriculture. Food is the source of life therefore our people must have access to land and produce food in abundance thus minimising imports of genetically modified foods which are not good for our health. Southern Africa has vast unutilised land that was and is returned to its rightful owners and this land must be put to good and profitable use.
From land use to environment protection and waste management, our environment is our life, trees, water and many other natural recourses must be protected and equally be used to our benefit.
All other departments as seen above, with details below, have a role to play in our lives.
Donors, as the source of finance and promoters of community development, would find it easier to support FCDC programmes as their field of interest or of importance is found under one roof, thus minimising the wasting of precious time searching for what to fund at or from different organisations. FCDC has no political connections which makes it the most suitable organisation to fund since all donations will serve the desired purpose.
Our Primary focus is Rural Areas working with all local partners/stakeholders, international NGOs and governments.
