A true example of passionate customer service.
A special thank you to Shirley Mogota at the Checkers Bram Fischer branch. Not only was she polite and friendly but told me about amazing specials while processing my sales. This young lady's service was exemplary in every way. I confess to buying a number of the specials! Her manager was phenomenal when I complimented her on Shirley's service. Her pride was genuinely evident. Well done Shirley, I look forward to seeing you on my next visit.

The Extra Mile
On the 8th of June 2021 I, Mrs Naidoo, tried to shop with Sixty60 ,but couldn't buy Gemmerkat ginger beer,online. After speaking to Samantha, customer service, I called the hyper store in 14th Ave. I spoke to Reghardt Hasselmann, Perishables Manager, who walked to the isle and confirmed stock available. How do I purchase the item if it is not on the website, was my, not so happy, question. I was desperate, as this ginger beer helped my husband with his cancer drug side effects.
A very gentle and generous offer was made by Reghardt. He, not knowing where I lived, did not hesitate, offered to purchase the ginger beer and bring it to me, which he did,after work.
I commend Reghardt for his generosity and for having gone the extra mile for a total stranger.
My husband (ex ShopRite Checkers branch manager)and I are very grateful for Reghardt Hasselmann's deed. It means a great deal to us and may God Bless Reghardt abundantly.
I also hope and pray that this Wonderful person goes a long way in his career.

SCAM
SCAM!! Ordered at 8am. After money taken was made aware of a 15% 'contingency' surcharge - for WHAT?! Found out at 10:30 the most expensive item out of stock - no way to cancel, or replace with something else. Notification received 'delivered' at 11:40 am (NOT 60 minutes) - arrived at 12:10pm. Advised the driver order should be cancelled - asked which Checkers he was from for me to call and he put the phone down in my ear! Now I have to run around for a refund?! Disgusting!!
