I am writing to you about my worst professional beauty experience at one of the Schwarzkopf franchise salons in Durban owned by Ms Marlene Valiallah at the Max Chanelles House of Hair & Beauty in Sol Harris Crescent Durban on 11 September 2016.

1. Marlene or Moscini Valiallah ( moschinivaliallah at gmail.com) gave us a very poor quality service and treatment at her salon on 11 September when there was a very sudden power outage from 9 :30 am when we were in her salon to 11: 45 am

2. She as manager did not stop the hair treatment on my sisterinlaw and the beauty and hair treatment on me and ask us to reschedule an appointment even though the power went out by 9: 30 am.

3. Marlene continued to wax and thread ( although I did not want threading) and went for waxing.

4. I had negotiated a special price with her stylist Paula of R400 for myself and my sisterinlaw as my guest as a special price for both of us without her being present and without her staff Paula telling us that there was an Eid Day special. On Sunday Marlene lied and told us she had a Eid special even though she did not know it was our Eid festival on Monday until we told her why we had come to her salon.

5. Paula under Marlene's full supervision coloured and cut our hair in the dark asking us to sit on all sides of the salon which had some daylight and we had the most awful experience ever.

6. Paula cut my sisterinlaws hair before the colour so that there would be less hair colour used for the R400 PRICE WE HAD AGREED TO EVEN THOUGH WE WERE HAVING A REGROWTH COLOUR AND NOT FULL COLOUR.

Marlene said today 13 September that it was salon policy to cut hair first before the colour yet she did that with my sisterin law and not with me. Is this true for Schwazkopt salons because it is not the policy in other salons. If is is policy Marlene and her staff should have notified us before starting the treatment. Why did Paula recut hair after the colour for my sisterin law?

7. She then recut her hair after the c olour.

8. our cuts in the dark of the salon were terrible.

9. Marlene then charged us the full price of R 400 FOR MY COLOUR AND r 70 for the wax/thread and charged my sisterin law R350 even though she had given her a bad hair colour.

10 we asked for a blend in colour to our hair and both of us got more of a dark black colour in the end.

11. Paula under Marlene's supervision used ordinary colour for my sisterin law and a 10 minute tint for me and yet we had to wait the same amount of time nearly 30-40 minutes for the hair wash.

12. My cut is like a rat bite and everyone asks where i got such a bad haircut and I say at Marlene's salon.



Please send this feedback to the salon and to the customer service haircare manager as I think we got ripped off by Marlene and her service and attitude was most unprofessional.

It was UNETHICAL of Marlene /Moschini to provide quality hair care treatment and to take full payment and her attitude is most unprofessional. She needs training and her staff need training to deal with the public as it is your product that this salon is promoting.
