I see with my eye a ribeye. No, no its not a ribeye! Then what is it?
Lots of exercise for our jaw bones, for sure! Lots of strings and sinew. Grassfed, is it maybe the grass, that matured over 14 days?
Food Lovers market used to be our first love there in Bruma, Park Meadows, now for sure there is no love!!!
Now we actually live overseas, and we know that anyone is spoilt for choice in South Africa when it comes to meat, especially a delicious piece of steak, definitely not here where we live. So after a recent visit to SA I carried 2 packets of steak, vacuum packed, in my suit case on the flight all the way to Thailand. My husband could not wait for dinner with this mouth watering steak.. . . What disappointment!!!! All the way for nothing! I could have stocked up with more cheese or chocolate instead! WHAT A WASTE!!!!
Never again. Never again will we buy from FOOD LOVERS MARKET. High price very low quality.... at R149.99 a kilogram, Wow!
In hind sight, of course this 'ribeye' was very carefully disguised between the black and red labels on the packet. How clever!
Oh now I know! Maybe there was a Zebra that got lost, there in Brackenfell, or a kangaroo that swam all the way from Perth!
So: Did Cavalier really supply this delicious ribeye? Are the packers Rump & Ocean to blame? Or Food Lovers Market who had the meat on their shelves, or is it the butcher? Mr Manager, who shall I ask WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS??
Another question: who of these people shall we invite to come and try the other packet of ' ribeye' ?
