Reviews of Floors Direct (Alberton)

My parents (pensioners) paid about R30k to have their entire home redone with wooden flooring.
After moving all their furniture out the house and not having a home to live in, they were told to wait a couple more weeks for the stock to arrive.
So they lived in shambles for another couple weeks. Finally the floors came and they started with it, only for it to start lifting literally a day later.
My parents told them to stop what they are doing and first sort out the floors that have lifted. They also discovered that the product that was used, was a cheaper product then what they actually paid for!
Floors Direct then came back to my parents telling them that after extensive testing they discovered that the floors were wet. I think they used the term “over washing”
Now how, I ask you, when my parents have not had a home to live in because they were about a quarter of the way done, could they have washed the floors????
Bearing in mind that it took them about 2 months to come to this conclusion as well??
Now, because of the testing done, they therefore decided that they will not refund my parents or complete the installation and if my parents would like this to be done, then they would need to pay for new floors, which would be ANOTHER R30k!!
This is absolutely DISGUSTING!! To extort so much money from pensioners and leave my parents in absolute distraught and out of pocket like that!!
You all should be bloody ashamed of yourselves man!!!!!!!!!!
