FAKE MOUNTAIN HONEY GINGER AND LEMON
I purchased the Honey from Rylands. To our horror it is full of syrup and the product crystalises.
furthermore this product needs to be reported to the consumer council in respect of labelling;

product has no details of ingredients
No contact number
etc

please send me an email address to forward the pictures

Fake ass honey
I bought it from a bangladesh shop. This isnt honey it tastes like golden syrup. The most fake stuff I ever bought. The bangladesh shops either sell u expired stuff or fake stuff. Im getting a bit tired of them and their inferior quality control. I dont thing ill buy anything from these small grocery shops ever again. This honey is nothing but a scam.

Yes so also bought two because of the good price, should have known. Decided to taste this honey but alas! FAKE INDEED. Hope to return the unopened bottle. Do people have no shame at all committing these acts...sad

Fake indeed
So I finally decided to actually taste this to see what everyone was on about, and yes, it is plain old syrup. Sad! I have been using this a week or two now for my morning drink which is Honey, Lemon, Ginger and hot water, thought it tasted weird but since it was mixed with everything else put it down to cheap honey.
Well other than cheap, I tasted normal syrup and then tasted this, same! Very disappointed, there should be some kind of law stopping this crap from being sold in the shops.

Not Honey
Definitely misleading labelling the bottle as honey as this is not honey. No nutritional information or contact information on the bottle. I should have known better.

MOUNTAIN HONEY
I bought a bottle of "MOUNTAIN HONEY" from a local store in Somerset West. I should have known straight away that this was no genuine honey as the very expensive honey on the same shelve had already started crystallizing whereas the "MOUNTAIN HONEY" looked perfect. On opening the bottle at home, I discovered, to my horror, that it was anything but honey. Subsequently, my neighbour and the shop assistant confirmed, after tasting, that it was golden syrup!

Fake Mountain Honey ?
I bought this awful tasting 'honey' in a shop in Farrarmere, Benoni. I may be able to use for baking, carefully. It surely spoiled my cup of Rooibos. I pity my greed for purchasing many on a 'good special'

FAKE?
I bought Mountain Honey at the local store as it was the only jar not marked as blended or irradiated.
It doesn't flow or taste like honey. It tastes like syrup with an admixture of artificial citrus flavour

This is not honey
Bought this jar at a local grocers in long street cape town. I guess I should have known it isn't real honey since the dubious label is printed with an expiry date. It tastes and flows like golden syrup.

Does not seem to be real honey especially the consistency would like a refund
Where can I have it laboratory tested as I think it's not real honey.

In Capetown we get a lot of complaints of this particular "honey". You can have it tested at SGS
