VOSLOORUS TAXI ASSOCIATION - Johannesburg

The operation of taxis to johannesburg is bad for people like me who work night shift we stand for hours waiting for taxi to take you to either leondale or ronderbult in the afternoon which delay us time no matter how early can one be but I for one find myself standing for long for a taxi please re consider the operation especially at bugle park

Please assist us with the fares going up can we please be dropped off at the right places not the rank cause this will cause an additional fee of R20 please

some of the drivers are dropping us at kwashembe where the tar road ends instead of erenkini here in villaliza,to them it doesn't matter whether its raining or at night .when you tell them that you are going to rank they say if the load is mixed they don't go there,and they become so aggressive that you persist. We fear for our lives especially at night,imagine you are dropped about 800metres away from the rank at night or when its raining yet you paid a full price please intervene queue Marshall doesn't helpus he seems to be afraid

It is so very sad to see our fellow. Brothers killing one another whereby problems should b dealt with in harmony and peace.following a shooting that took place today(15/10/2015)at. Gold spot taxi rank it was very traumatic to experience such a brutal killings,it has shown that the taxi owners ddont care as they can shoot infront of commuters.i just thank God a stray bullet did not hit me.I long for peace in the city of peace(ekurhuleni)stop taxi violence,stop the killing,stop psychological trauma u are putting commuters in.we. Are Africans n humans.may peace reign in JVTA and other associations

I experienced atrocious behaviour from one of JVTA's taxi drivers(DG63SN-GP) tonight. He took the Buhle Park load - which also includes Klippoortjie Park - and when I asked him to drop me off at Klippoortjie, he vulgarly expressed - in his words "uyang'nyela" - that he would not go there.

I then explained to him that Buhle Park taxis go to Klippoortjie if there are people going there and that he can call one of his colleagues to confirm. Again he expressed "uyang'nyela...nge airtime ka bani...". I then asked him not to speak to me in that manner and he continued to throw insults, and asked "noma ungangireporter or ufuna ukulwa". I asked him again not to speak to me in that manner.

He eventually drove into Klippoortjie to drop me off, which should not have been an issue in the first place.

The problem here is his attitude. Such disrespect should not be experienced by anyone using JVTA's transport services or any other association for that matter. He should learn the principles of mutual respect.

An unhappy customer

On the 21-10-2014 at around 17:25 I was in a taxi from JHB to Vosloorus Extension 25. I was sitting at the back along three other commuters, what a nightmare we had to endure as it was raining and all off a sudden the back sit was leaking water from the roof top. We told the driver to sort this issue out next time so that it must not happen, he ignored us.

The taxi is rotten inside, it smelled of cigarettes, all seats torn, roof leaking water as it was raining, you can see the tar of the freeway while the taxi was in motion.

I could understand if it was the first time it occurred, you could see it's always been like that with silicon's and dirty tissues where it was leaking.

RMG748GP is the taxi's registration, will you please look into this matter.

Are the taxi fees gone up because of the situation we have of shutdown I've paid 17rand instead of 11 rand from sunward park to holomisa the driver said is because of the shut down the registration is cs 11 TV GP blue n white taxi

I reside in Exetention 16 Vosloorus and on Monday the 18th March 2019, I will be travelling from Vosloorus to Etwatwa(Phillip Moyo Clinic). please advise as to where and when can I catch a taxi to my destination - Etwatwa.
