Reviews of KENITEX

About 4 - 5 years ago I paid a lot of money to have the exterior of my house Kenitexed. It looked good, and I was happy with the 10-year guarantee. However, I have rently noticed that the paint on all the walls was cracking, and contacted Kenitex. I was told that I must submit the guarantee, which I did. I was called by the same consultant who did the original work, and told that he will come and do an inspection "when he is in Pretoria next time" This is now 3 weeks ago, and no further phone calls, no acknowledgement of receipt of my emails. In one word - NOTHING. This is SO disappointing. I have approached Hellopeter with my complaint and apparently Kenitex is not a responding company. I think I will next have to approach the Consumer Council! Lenie

I paid about R200k to have my house painted about 4 years ago. The product does not last half the time they guarantee and they do not honor the guarantee either. I have been promised that they will fix some major problems (they admitted to during site visits) for the last 3 years. I have have been promised repair work by both Rob van Dijk and Leon Jacobs(main shareholder?) on numerous occasions. Excuses for not showing up range from weather to their teams working in some remote area.
