Avoid Burthrim Mentoor as he watches black customers very carefully when in the neelsies shop. Blacks - from student to professor - are all treated like potential shoplifters - under tight and constant surveillance as you move from aisle to aisle. Not the same for white customers in the other aisles. Becos of this experience, i took my business elsewhere in the neelsies - a loss of R650 to unistat. I don't think they care at ALL. I do NOT expect the owners Anthony and Cecile Tintinger of pale white shade to be alert, awake, sympathetic and empathetic to this overt and ingrained racism. Dismissive is more their likely response. If you are black person and shopping at Unistat in the Neelsies, then be prepared to be treated like a second class citizen cos it appears that the colour of black people's money is not the the same as white folk.
