Company description
Middelburg in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, is surrounded by mountains in the heart of the Great Karoo. It was founded in 1852, when it was decided to establish a new town midway between Craddock and Colesberg on the road to the north. The town lies in a circle formed by Graaff-Reinet, Craddock, Steynsburg, Colesberg and Richmond. The town is the centre of a sheep farming area and has the Grootfontein Agricultural Development Insitute on its outskirts.
