With the development in the Coal Mining Industry the Scheme went from strength to strength and in 1976 it changed from a Benefit Society to a Medical Scheme, offering members a wide range of benefits at service suppliers of their choice. After 75 years, the Scheme still has a sound financial record and remains totally committed to its members. With an active Board of Trustees, and dedicated office staff, we continue to strive to provide members with the most cost effective medical scheme, using innovative methods combined with effective management and administration.
