ECONEX - Stellenbosch

As a result of our work in competition analysis we have had the opportunitiy to be involved in sectors of the South African economy where regulation plays an important role, e.g. the telecommunications, health and energy sectors. We use our existing knowledge of these sectors to analyse specific economic problems for some of the larger telecommunications, health and energy companies. At the beginning of 2009 Econex moved its head office to Stellenbosch where, apart from the expertise of our permanent staff, we also draw on the intellectual knowledge base of Stellenbosch through our academic associates, affiliated to either the University of Stellenbosch or the Bureau for Economic Research (BER). As such, we can provide specialised economic analysis in any field of economics to our clients.
