Drawn by adventure and driven by a quest to seek new boundaries, the van Leeuwen Boomkamp's can tell out of own experience how one can fall in love with this ancient part of South Africa and how one feels linked to the Dutch ancestors who planted the roots for todays society. On the farm there are 3500 fruit trees which are hand-picked from March until September on a daily basis, and in January and February the delicate wines are harvested. Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cape-Riesling vineyards can be found on the farm and when asked for, every visitor gets to attend a private tour by the farmer and if one whishes one gets to ride a tractor or quad.
