Aid at Hand is a Close Corporation that aims to empower individuals and groups to improve safety and health care through health awareness and skills development. The business originated after a number of expert health care professionals identified a need in the community and health care sector for quality first aid and health care training. Aid at Hand's First Aid training courses are all interactive courses facilitated by experienced enthusiastic instructors. The skills of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), bandaging, splinting, and more are practiced under the guidance of an instructor until course participants can do it with confidence. All the AHA courses are based on practice-while-watching a video, with the added advantage of having an instructor to guide skills practice.
