IKHWEZI LOKUSA REHABILITATION - Mthatha

The aim of the Society is to offer the beneficiaries rehabilitation and training to prepare them for life in their environment at home. This is achieved through a skills training programme within four workshop and through ongoing assistance in learning to cope with the daily life challenges of persons with disabilities. The service users stay for up to five years. If distance is an issue, accommodation in hostels is available. Eventually they are encouraged and assisted to seek employment in the open labour market or to start their own business.
