THE KWAZULU-NATAL GAMBLING BOARD - Pietermaritzburg

Section 30 of the Treasury Regulations, 2000, promulgated in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), 1999, requires the KwaZulu-Natal Gambling Board to prepare and submit a strategic plan for the forthcoming Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) period, for approval by the Executive Authority. The approved strategic plan must be forwarded to Treasury not later than 30 September. The strategic plan must: cover a period of three years; include program objectives and outcomes as identified by the Executive Authority; as well as the Service Delivery Improvement Program (SDIP) include multi-year projections of revenue and expenditure; include key performance measures and key indicators of the SDIP for assessing the Board’s performance in achieving the desired

objectives and outcomes; be updated annually on a rolling basis; and form the basis for the Annual Report of the Accounting Authority in compliance with Sections 40(1) (d)and (e) and 55 (1) and (2) of the PFMA.
