THE OLD HATCHERY

The Old Hatchery Restaurant is nestled among some beautiful trees at the edge of our trout dam with the waterfall flowing just past the deck into the dam below. We are open daily for dinners ¿ bookings essential. The restaurant is also the perfect intimate venue for functions such as weddings, birthday & anniversary celebrations, retreats, etc Just on the other side of our trout dam we have 3 charming little fishing cabins that are equipped for 2 self-catering guests each. These units do not have television although they each have their own "bush telly" (fireplace). Please bring your own firewood. Each cottage also has a little wooden deck and braai facilities. When you have parked your car next to the dam, you will need to carry your luggage up the wooden stairs, past the restaurant and over the waterfall (+-150m). The paths are all wooden walkways and lit at night.
