Susan and Steven Fowkes met over 27 years ago, sharing their love for wildlife for many years at the World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary. They spent several years in Zimbabwe running a private wildlife orphanage and Bird Park. They returned home to Cape Town in 2001 where Steven qualified as a Tour Guide. In 2004, Care Transport, a 24-hour wheelchair-friendly transport service, was started by Susan, while Steven’s side of the partnership became Care Tours. Care Tours operates on a ‘No Rush, No Fuss’ policy - creating personalised tours tailored to suit individual requirements.
