The company has over the years built a solid client base in and outside the region, Supplying local companies, including yourselves, with a wide range of high and low voltage switchgear as well as mechanical seals and survey equipment. The company was established in 1946 by 2 young businessmen, Mr. North and Mr. Robertson, who began building the atmosphere, which attracted a team of valuable and loyal staff and customers. company. Included in this long serving team is Gilbert Gidana who has been with North and Robertson for more than 50 years. The company in 1996 decided to establish a sister company - Gidana Cables and Accessories Which Gilbert runs extremely successfully with turnover last year exceeding 2 million. Gidana Cables and Accessories were recently awarded a R4m East London municipal tender for cabling to run from Chiselhurst to Nahoon. He has also been successful with a number of other municipal cabling contracts.
