SHAKAS REST

Shakas Rest started years ago as a Bed & Breakfast and after hearing the needs of holidaymakers who needed accommodation which could accommodate the entire family for holidays together, Shakas Rest then changed into a self catering home to meet the wishes of many. Due to Shakas Rest once being a Bed & Breakfast, there was never a need for a lounge to watch TV. Instead, each room has its own TV for guests to enjoy. For ¿lounging around¿, we have a small lounging area inside the dining room and various outside lounging chairs and seats for those wishing to take in the view and read the morning paper or for those summery cocktails at sunset. Shakas Rest home offers 5 separate entrance bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, television with a DSTV channel, electronic safes, air conditioners,

and/or ceiling fans and sleeps 12 guests in total. Room 1 has a queen bed, Room 2 has two single beds, Room 3 has two single beds, Room 4 has a queen bed and Room 5 (family room) has four 3/4 beds. All linen and bath towels are provided (one set per weekend booking and two sets per week booking). Rooms 1 to 4 are front rooms with sea views and have sliding doors leading out to the pool area and Room 5 is a side room which caters for a family of 4 . The fully equipped dining room seats 12 people and is air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan for those lovely summer days and nights and it also has a small lounging area on the side for those who would just like to sit back and relax. Outside is a sparkling swimming pool with seating areas and a built in braai has been provided for your convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped and caters for 12 people. At 10am each morning (except for Sunday¿s and Public Holidays), our Cleaning Staff are on hand to make up your rooms & to assist you with breakfast dishes.
