CASA BALLENA - Gansbaai

The unit sleeps only 2 persons and has an en-suite shower room. There is a kitchenette (fridge, toaster and coffee make facilities - no cooking facilities), lounge / dining room with covered deck. A light breakfast is included in the rates. The Whale Coast has a lot to offer, walks along De Kelders cliffs with whales playing only meters from the shore. Boat based whale whatching or Great White shark diving trips depart in the mornings with a possible second trip around 12:00 with various operators departing from the Kleinbaai Harbour. While dining at a restaurant in Gansbaai Harbour you can watch fishing boats going in and out. The fishing industry dates back to the earliest days of settlement in Gansbaai. It was named Gansgat after the Egyptian geese that had their nests around the fountain in the harbour.
