For those of you looking for a more lively time the busy town of Margate is just a 5 minute drive away with. The Braes Lodge is in Ramsgate the heart of the sunny South Coast with its long stretches of beautiful golden beaches ideal for families whether it is playing in the surf, fishing from the rocks or just sunbathing. Why not try a boat trip for fishing or Whale and Dolphin watching. All of which can be booked at The Adventure Centre at Ski Boat Bay beach just 800 meters from the lodge. The centre also offers various beach activities including the hiring of kayaks, canoes, beach umbrellas and chairs. Ski Boat Bay is Patrolled on holidays and weekends.
